Explore Kangaroo Island and meet some of its most iconic animal inhabitants on this 1-Day Wildlife Encounter charter.

Explore Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, with almost 150 native Australian wildlife and over 600 animals. With an amazing range of wildlife you will be able to find all the iconic Aussie Animals you’ve been searching for. For a bit of extra expense you can purchase food for Kangaroo’s or pre-book a Koala Hold.*

You’ll stop by an Aussie Pub for lunch before heading to Seal Bay to see Australian Sea Lions in the wild. Stroll along the 900-metre boardwalk and spot Sea Lions snoozing on the beach, and sometimes under the boardwalk itself as your circumnavigate the endemic colony.

You’ll finish your day with a stop by Pennington Bay, one of Kangaroo Island’s most picturesque and wild beaches with intricate rock formations.

Whilst at the park you can even purchase a small bag of Kangaroo food and feed some of the local Kangaroos or Wallabies.

Discover Seal Bay
One of South Australia’s top ten tourist destinations (as voted on Trip Advisor) Seal Bay is home to an Australian Sea Lion colony for almost 1000 years. A 900-metre boardwalk makes this easy access for young and old alike and provides fantastic views of both the coastline and the colony.

  • Tour lasts for approx. 8 hours
  • Per person tours – minimum numbers: 15, maximum: 57
  • Private tour – numbers are dependent on coach size booked.
  • Private tour pricing is provided at a fixed price per coach. Full private coach price when divided by all passengers are significantly lower per person then regular tour ticket prices. For a full charter per person tickets will equate to $199.20 per person for a FULL 24-seater private coach and $149.40 per person on a FULL 57-seater private coach.
  • Koala Hold – This experience MUST be organised prior to tour departure with Kangaroo Island Coachlines at time of booking and costs $40pp. Please click the experience as an ‘extra’ when buying your tickets.
  • Kangaroo Food – Can be purchased at own expense at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
  • Aussie Pub Meal – Please note, cost of lunch is at your own expense.
  • Seal Bay Boardwalk Tour does not provide direct access to the beach at Seal Bay. Guests should not attempt to climb from boardwalk to the beach.
  • For safety, the group MUST stay together at all times whilst at Seal Bay and must remain approx. 10m away from seals unless directly approached. Remember these are wild animals and no attempt for direct contact should be made.
  • Your driver will also function as a tour guide, providing information on sights seen and local knowledge.
  • Photo opportunities will be offered at various locations.
  • Pickup and Drop off are at the carpark at Penneshaw Jetty, Kangaroo Island.
  • Air-conditioned motorcoach provided.
  • Order of sights visited may vary on the day.
  • Please wear comfortable flat-sled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, a jacket if required, sunscreen and bring bottled water.
  • Snacks and water provided on coach. Lunch to be purchased by you on location.
  • Route travelled includes unsealed roads and may be a bumpy ride.
  • Optional ferry return ticket available upon checkout.
