  • Depart Penneshaw – Pick up is located just outside the Ferry Terminal.

  • Visit Cape Willoughby Conservation Park – including the Cape Willoughby lighthouse.
  • Enjoy the Views at Antechamber Bay and Chapman River – Photo-ops abound at these beautiful nature locations.
  • Indulge in a local Wine Tasting – Enjoy tastings of local wines.

  • Return to Penneshaw – Arrive in Penneshaw after a full day of fun and excitement.

Cape Willoughby Lighthouse

Visit South Australia’s first lighthouse. Take the time to soak up the amazing coastal views, get out a camera for a photo-op or, if available, book on for an optional tour of the lighthouse itself.

There is a lot to learn and explore on the Cape, including its role in coastal shipping, colonial trading, and passenger transport during early European settlement.

  • Tour lasts for approx. 3 hours
  • Per person tours – minimum numbers: 15, maximum: 57
  • Private tour – numbers are dependent on coach size booked.
  • Private tour pricing is provided at a fixed price per coach. Full private coach price when divided by all passengers are significantly lower per person then regular tour ticket prices. For a full charter per person tickets will equate to $79.17 per person for a FULL 24-seater private coach and $59.40 per person on a FULL 57-seater private coach.
  • Your driver will also function as a tour guide, providing information on sights seen and local knowledge.
  • PLEASE NOTE – We cannot guarantee Kangaroo sightings as these are wild animals. It is rare for no sightings to occur.
  • Photo opportunities will be offered at various locations
  • Pickup and Drop off are at the carpark at Penneshaw Jetty, Kangaroo Island
  • Air-conditioned motorcoach provided
  • Order of sights visited may vary on the day
  • Tour includes entry only to the Park Grounds and does NOT include a tour of the Lighthouse itself. Ability to tour the lighthouse may vary on the day and will be an additional cost.
  • Light snack will be provided on the day
  • Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, a jacket, sunscreen and bring bottled water.
  • Route travelled includes unsealed roads and may be a bumpy ride.
  • Optional ferry return ticket available upon checkout.
  • If minimum tour numbers are not reached the tour will be cancelled. Notification of tour cancellation will be made 48 hours in advance.
