  • Board Walk or Guided Beach Tour – Choose how you explore Seal Bay.
  • Visit Pennington Bay – Photo-ops abound at this great beach location.

  • Return to Penneshaw – Arrive in Penneshaw after a full day of fun and excitement.

Tour Highlights

A Guided Tour or Boardwalk Exploration

You will be greeted by a Seal Bay guide who will take you down onto the beach and to the colony itself, where you will learn more about these unique animals. You can choose instead to do a self-guided walk along the 900-metre boardwalk with multiple viewing platforms.

A Beach Discovery

You’ll further your time on the coast with a visit to Pennington Bay for a photo op of its amazing rocky coastline and pounding waves. Its gorgeous aquamarine water and unique rocky formations make for a great photo.

Seal Bay Conservation Park

Home to an Australian Sea Lion colony for almost 1000-years, you’ll be amazed at the sight of these beautiful local marine mammals as they laze about on the beach.

  • An experienced Seal Bay guide will meet you at Seal Bay for a beach walk tour.
  • Photo opportunities will be offered at various locations
  • For safety, the group MUST stay together at all times whilst as Seal Bay and must remain approx. 10m away from seals unless directly approached or told different by your guide. Remember these are wild animals and no attempt for direct contact should be made.
  • Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, a jacket if required (it can be windy down at Seal Bay), sunscreen and bring bottled water.
  • Order of sights may differ on the day
  • Air-conditioned motorcoach provided
  • Pickup and Drop off are at the carpark at Penneshaw Jetty, Kangaroo Island
  • If minimum tour numbers are not reached the tour will be cancelled. Notification of tour cancellation will be made 1 week in advance.
